The law applies to everyone regardless of gender, race, economic status, sexuality, etc. Acknowledge that coercive control occurs as more than one incident, outline the criteria which must be met in order for the actions to be considered a criminal offence, and finally help the women who are forced to sacrifice their freedom in order to satisfy their partners need to control. The longer you delay will only harm those crying for help even more.
