However our adult daughter with mental health issues lives alone & has no one in her bubble but us and we distance visit with her in the backyard. My mom has breast cancer & now my daughter help her Nan clean her little apartment with gloves & mask on. Problem is mom goes out & socializes with many ladies in her bldg & gets too close when we distance visit & always needs little jobs done. My daughter is desperate to hug us, my husband says we should, I say no but it breaks my heart. She is so lonely & scared. I don’t know what to do, my husband doesn’t see himself as vulnerable. Our daughter is 36 but is about 14 mentally. I hugged her last week with masks on & we couldn’t let each other go & both were sobbing, hubby too watching us. It’s difficult because she follows protocols but forgets to sanitize then panics. Overwhelmed 😢

Somehow I think it makes everyone feel a little less alone reading how complicated the situation is from you.
