Brain break

After the intensity of the inquest, a couple of weeks of writing about it, catching up on work I abandoned while I was in Pembroke and moving around while our house was under renovation, I have found myself — for the first time in the more than five years I have been writing this blog — without inspiration or energy to write about anything at all this week.

I’m giving my writing brain the week off while I unpack boxes, set up my new office and enjoy some time in our garden. I’ll be back next week — writing from Halifax, where I will be part of a roundtable about intimate partner violence at the Mass Casualty Commission.
